RWV Kanopy Movie Group Discussion - Third Thursday each month online via Zoom.

Movie this Month: Howard‘s End (1992) (Best Actress Academy Award for Emma Thompson)

Description: In 1910 class distinctions and troubled relations affect relationship between two families and the ownership of a cherished British estate known as Howard‘s End. When a deathbed addition to a will is destroyed, our story becomes ever more tangled. Masterfully acted by Vanessa Redgrave, Emma Thompson, and Anthony Hopkins, we also see beautiful homes, the best of fashion, and lush scenery. Conflicting values, decent, love, compassion, greed, and the fight for legacy contribute to this compelling story.

Watch the movie before the discussion via the web application "Kanopy" (or other streaming service) anytime before the discussion date and bring your comments and insights to the online discussion.

Kanopy is free through many county library websites.
