Mindfulness and Meditation

Are you tired of rushing through your day on automatic pilot, afraid that you're missing out on what's really important? Mindfulness offers awareness of the present moment, without judgement. It brings peace, freedom from anxiety, and acceptance. Studies show that meditation reduces rates of cognitive decline and dementia while improving focus and attention. MRI scans of the brains of long-time meditators show them to be 7 years younger than their chronological age. Find out what all the buzz is about and begin learning why 20 minutes of silence a day can transform your life.

Diane Toland is a Holistic Health Educator from the National Holistic Institute. She is a certified meditation teacher from Atlantic University, a Certified Conscious Aging Workshop Facilitator from the Institute of Noetic Sciences and has been trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Diane also teaches Tai Chi. She currently teaches Mindfulness and Meditation and other classes at Clark College in Vancouver, WA.
