The recent election further highlights how divided we are as a nation. At Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, we don't think there are any easy answers. In fact, pretending like it's easy and that we don't have real differences can actually be offensive. People are passionate about their ideas, and they should be. This year's Collins Summit explores the question of whether we can come together and work toward common goals. What might healing our nation look like? Too soon? Impossible? Join us as we explore these and other challenging questions.
Through a special virtual format, we will explore these racial, political and social divisions, asking how we bring our whole selves to the table and stay engaged in light of our differences, not in spite of them.
