This is the first full-length, hand painted film taking 10 years to complete. It gives us a compelling story, focusing on Vincent van Gogh's last days, with a unique theory of the cause of his death. The artists involved duplicated van Gogh's painting style in creating each scene of the film. And every scene of the film is a "reenactment" (for want of a better word) of one of van Gogh's paintings. Watching through the end credits is especially satisfying: we learn of the collaboration of fine art and technology which resulted in this work.
