"No Guilt" Book Club shares book lore - bring a title to share or listen to others talk about a book they’ve enjoyed.  Everyone is welcome!

The No Guilt Book Club is a genius idea in which we meet monthly (currently the third Sunday at 3 pm), with each sharing the highlights of a book we’ve been reading. Anyone may just show up ready to enjoy hearing about others’ books. There’s no pressure for the group to choose a single title that everyone must have read. This has been delightful and enriching for those of us who have participated.

We have found the transition from meeting in-person to virtual meetings to have some challenges, and recently our participation has waned. That raises several questions.

  1. Would a different day and time permit more people to join in?
  2. Should there be a change in format?  In order to assure that everyone has equal time to share, we briefly experimented with having a time keeper control the length of each presentation. That has been modified to be less rigid, but perhaps there are other possibilities.
Please e-mail Vivian Allison (vallison41@gmail.com)  with your ideas and/or log on to Go To Meeting at 3 pm Sunday, October 18th when we’ll begin by discussing these issues before sharing our books.
