River West volunteers do the kind of tasks friends, neighbors and family might do. Sometimes something as simple as someone to take laundry down steep basement steps, change a smoke alarm battery or rake leaves to keep your walkways clear can make all the difference.

• Occasional light housekeeping
• Occasional light yard and garden care
• Routine maintenance
• Item repair
• Simple sewing and mending
• Running errands
• Assistance with your laptop, smart phone or tablet
• Transportation to appointments, shopping, events
• Checking on your home when you are away
• Assistance with medical appointments, a Health Care Buddy, contact office for more information
• Referral to vetted vendors for projects beyond our scope and a volunteer to be with you when the vendor is on-site
