Description: Medications can bring on problems if they don’t mix well with other things you put into your body, like another medication, a certain food, or alcohol. These drug interactions can make your medication stop working, become less effective, or too strong, and potentially cause troublesome side effects.
Kayt Zundel MPA, MS from Legacy Health Services will explain how to check for potential interactions and how to avoid them.
Following the 1-hour presentation, she will review each attendee's medications to identify potential drug-drug interactions. Registrants will be emailed a sheet to jot down their medications for these individual sessions; look for an email from the library with more details.
